four possible interpretations:
i. the obvious one
Someone wasn't interesting
ii. lord of the flies
Viewing a large wild pig
iii. 8th grade shop class
A well-drilled hole
iv. visiting South Africa
An impressive Afrikaner
A bore, I thought? Just one?

Rushing up from the estuary, a great
Wall of water shining in the sun.
Some reckless surfers mounted on the crest,
Seeking thrills from riding such a beast.
Not largest in the world, nor yet the least,
But still they ride it, testing who is best.
